Sandals Royal Plantation, Jamaica

This past Thanksgiving, I visited four awesome Sandals resorts.

Over the next few weeks, I will post about each of them.  Which one fits your personality the best?

Let me know if you want to talk about your next vacation!  I’m at

Second one up!  Sandals Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

The downside to this resort is that it is approx 90 minutes from the airport.  And yes, that can be a long ride!  (Book through me, and it’s a FREE ride)

The plus side to this resort is not only are the waters beautiful, but you’re near TONS of locations with some great excursions.  Canopy rides, zip lines, 4×4 through the rainforest…  You can also visit the neighboring Sandals – Grande Riviera.

This is a very relaxing resort, and every room is a butler room.  There is afternoon tea on the veranda, and there is a calmer, more intimate feel to this property.

Red Lane Spa at Sandals Royal Plantation. You have never smelled anything as good as inside this building.

The veranda, where afternoon tea takes place.

Royal Plant4

The view when you walk into the lobby. Yes, that’s right. It’s open-air and beautiful.

Royal Plant5

Outside dining, also where beach parties and dinners take place.

Royal Plant6

The resort has an East Beach and a West Beach. Both are private, quiet, and beautiful.

For the VERY discerning client, there is a caviar and champagne bar. Want it privately? It can also be brought to your room, or on the beach.

Stay tuned!  On January 2, 2013, we’ll feature Sandals Montego Bay!
