Sandals Royal Caribbean, Jamaica

This past Thanksgiving, I visited four awesome Sandals resorts.

Over the next few weeks, I will post about each of them.  Which one fits your personality the best?

Let me know if you want to talk about your next vacation!  I’m at allison@pvactravel.com

Here’s the last of the four!  Sandals Royal Caribbean, Jamaica.

The downside to this resort is that it is approx 90 minutes from many Ocho Rios excursions.  So, if you’re planning on any excursions such as those at the Dunn’s River Falls, plan the full day of activities in Ocho Rios when you do.  (need help?  ask me!)

The plus side to this resort is that it’s 5 minutes from the airport.  It’s also right next to two other Sandals resorts (one that we featured last week), so you can hop on the shuttle and enjoy even MORE restaurants, bars, and beaches.

Every room at this resort was either along the pool, or along the beach.  Water everywhere!

You can take a boat from Sandals Royal Caribbean over to Sandals Cay, the private island. There is a beach over there, but there’s also an authentic Thai restaurant.

Where else can you get fresh lobster prepared like this?

Enjoy some time at a bonfire, listening to the ocean waves at night.

How is THIS for a room? You swim right up to your back porch!

A beach grill and bar sits on the sand just behind where the photographer was. Makes it easy to enjoy your lunch and some drinks while you relax at the beach.

You can reserve a private canopy and schedule couples massages on the beach.

You can schedule a private lunch or dinner, served to you on the beach.

Thanks for joining us in our Sandals Jamaica series!
